Fire Hydrant

This fire hydrant is in Johns creek, Georgia in my neighborhood.  We choose this and thought this was important because this effects large neighborhood with three hundred to four hundred people. I decided to place our public health sticker on a fire hydrant because it is a big, important issue especially at a big neighborhood the fire hydrants are there to get rid of injuries, as well as safety for the whole community. Fire hydrants are there to assist firefighters if the fire is too big to control or if firefighters run out of water. If firefighters do run out of water they attach their hose to the hydrant for more supply for water. Usually fire hydrants are bright colors so the public can see them from a distance and because they are really important to the public. The area around the fire hydrant is very clean. Kids should also not play next to fire hydrants and they should not be used as toys.

People should feel safe when they enter communities because most fires are caused by mistakes and they should always know how many fire hydrants are located. The community should also know the rules such as not parking next to fire hydrants. The community should know where they are located. The location of the fire hydrant is right in the center of the neighborhood which provides easy access to the water and visibility when the fire department shows up. This fire hydrant is important to the community because it helps in preventing injuries or mortality and helps fire fighters when we have fires. As a community as a whole, we should always respect our surroundings because they are there to help us.
