Cigarette Trashcan

This is a cigarette trashcan that is located in downtown Athens. This is an example of public health because it prevents people from putting their cigarettes on the ground where children, dogs, and other people can come come in contact with them. It also keeps the city looking cleaner by keeping the cigarettes from littering the ground. This trash can also has vents on the side so that the smoke can safely be put out and so the smoke cannot harm anyone. I chose to post this trashcan because I think that it is a good preventative measure taken to keep people safe while keeping smokers from being mad. Everyone else needs to consider this an example of public health because of all of the benefits this trashcan has! It keeps Athens healthy, happy, cleaner, and prettier by keeping gross cigarettes off of the streets and safely put away.
