Drying your Hands Helps Prevent the Spread of Germs too!

This Xlerator Automatic Hand Dryer it located in the bathrooms at the Panera Bread off Atlanta Highway. This is an example of public health for many reasons. Not only does it prevent the spreading of germs, but it also reduces the amount of trash that is accumulated in bathrooms. This blow dryer drys one's hands just as well as a paper towels and helps the environment.

We chose this example because these are found all over Athens and are an inexpensive way to be eco-friendly. This is important for other people to consider this an example of Public Healthy because sanitation affects everyone around you. Washing your hands properly helps prevent the spread of disease, germs, and other sicknesses. Those who do not dry their hands with a blower and wipe their hands on their shirt or pants are re-contaminating their hands after washing them. The drying stage of hand washing is extremely important in making sure that your hands are actually clean.
