Water Tower Public Health
This a water tower near White Hollow Road in Athens. This is an example of public health, because the towns water supply is pressurized here, and it provides a water source for emergency power outages. This is also used for fire protection. In the case of a fire, this is an ample amount of water to douse the fire. We chose this example, because we were driving past it, and we thought it was a great example of how the community is prepared with extra water for any emergency. Others should consider this public health, because it is there to benefit them. People drive past these water towers everyday and don't stop to think what they are used for or how beneficial they are. In a state of emergency, this is what would keep the community hydrated and clean.
