Public Health Fire Exit

This is a fire exit sign at Walmart on Lexington Road in Athens, Ga. It is an example of public health because it is meant to keep people safe incase of a fire. In order for everyone to stay safe and unharmed in the event that a fire occurs, these signs will point people to a safe location. If these signs are not there, people could get seriously injured and burned which can lead to other health problems. I chose this sign because people forget the importance of what to do in a safety emergency like this. Fires can be a serious health hazard and people need to know how to handle the situation and where to go when they break out.
