This is an automatic hand sanitizer dispenser which is
located at Chick-fil-A on Epps Bridge Parkway.
This is an example of public health because they are
available in every Chick-fil-A and other places, so they are available to the
public. Also, it is benefitting the public’s health by offering a quick
alternative to hand washing without spreading more germs. It allows for the
public to prevent the spread of germs after using the restroom, which prevents
disease and promotes healthy living.
I chose this example because I work at Chick-fil-A and am
very grateful for these automatic hand sanitizer and soap dispensers. It allows
for me to wash my hands without worrying about whose hands were there before
mine. It also ensures that my hands will be clean after I wash them and use the
hand sanitizer. The spread of germs and disease is lowered while I am
interacting with customers and this is very important in a restaurant setting.
I’m glad that Chick-fil-A and other restaurants have begun turning towards the
automatic hand soap and hand sanitizer dispensers, sinks, and toilets. I
believe that this is a very important invention in public health and will
continue to prevent the spreading of germs and diseases.
