1) Describe what and where example is
·
This is a Chick-fil-A sign in Athens, GA reminding employees to wash
their hands before returning to the kitchen.
·
This is an example of public health because it helps remind employees to wash
their hands before they return to the kitchen to prepare food. Washing your
hands help stop the spread of germs. It’s important to wash your hands before
preparing food so one does not spread a disease or germs to someone else.
3) Why did you choose this example
·
I chose this example because I thought that it was a really good idea
to have a sign that reminds people as they leave the restroom to wash their
hands.
4) Why it is important that
others consider this example of public health
·
By having the sign up so that the public can see the rules that the
employees must follow it makes the employees do what they are supposed to do.
If a costumer sees that the employee did not wash their hands then they can
report that employee to the manger because they did not follow the rules. Having this sign in the restrooms at
Chick-fil-A makes the costumers feel that they are eating at a clean place. It
is also important for others to consider this example because it affects
everyone not just the people that work at Chick-fil-la. If the employees did not wash their
hands before cooking the food then they will spread the germs to their
costumers and the costumers will spread it to the rest of the public. That’s why
its important for others to consider this as an example of public health
because it affects everyone.

Hey I took my public health picture at Chick Fil A too! Haha but this is a great example of public health. Reminding employees to wash their hands is vital because not only does it promote their own good health, but it also prevents them from spreading germs to others through the food! And these signs could even remind non-employees to wash their hands.
