This is Public Health- Recycling Bins on UGA Campus

My example is a recycling bin that is placed in most classrooms on the UGA campus. This is an important step for public health because it now allows students to conveniently recycle their trash. This public health action enables a healthier, greener campus. I chose this example because it recycling bins are a fairly new addition to UGA when you consider how long the university has been around. This was not always an option, therefore students would have had to carry their trash with them in order to recycle, or forgo recycling altogether for the sake of convenience. Others should consider this an example of public health because this advancement has improved the carbon footprint of UGA. This effort can be credited to those who diligently work to make our campus a healthier more productive environment. Therefore, all students should take notice of these recycling receptacles, and make an effort to recycle their trash.
