TIPH Picture - Hand Sanitizer Station
This hand sanitizer station is an example of public health. This station is located in the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority house in a central location near the back door. It is providing public hand sanitizer to help promote keeping your hands clean and killing germs so they don't spread. Staying healthy is especially important when living in a sorority house with 60 other girls. Sickness is easily spread in community living like this and can affect a lot of people. Hopefully this public display of health promotion will encourage people to use the hand sanitizer and keep themselves from spreading germs to others. I chose this example because I have lived in the Zeta house in the past and know how easily it is to get sick living with that many people. It is important others consider this example because hand sanitizer stations can be set up anywhere people want for accessibility.

I agree that this is an example of public health because it is providing people the ability to stay clean and germ free. I can relate to this situation because I also live in a sorority house with lots of girls and when one person gets sick that usually means more are bound to get sick. By using hand sanitizer it allows you to stay germ free and hopefully not get sick as well. I get sick very easily and am very happy that hand sanitizer exists.
