TIPH Picture Post - Curtis Jester

My picture is of a sanitizing wipe station at a walmart outside of athens.
The reason this is public health is due to its caption "Spread Health" and because it has to do with the control of germs on commonly touched surfaces, mainly carts used for groceries.
I chose this example primarily for its captions: "Wipe away germs." and "Spread Health"
It is important for others to consider this an example of public health because the carts used for groceries are always being touched and not everyone has the cleanest hands, so if you wipe the germs, you'll lower your risk for getting sick.

  1. I really like this example that Curtis used. It perfectly displays public health because it encourages people to "Wipe Away Germs" that they carry on their hands and transfer to the carts. The wipes can help reduce other people's risk for getting sick, and its an easily accessible and effective way to advertise public health.
